A nations commitment to defending it people is very serious. Be aware you will have to sacrifice some of your humanity and maybe much more. Army humor, cool kit and other perks will smooth over some of bad stuff. My experience was intense and I keep the worst of it to myself but I live with it every day. I Don't expect respect.

I served in the Australian Army, but i assume that its much the same in the US.

Just get fit, play lot of sports and work on running REALLY long runs with lots of shit of your shoulders, do push ups and all the other shit that the army does.

Im sure you can look on the internet on military fitness drills etc.

I probably only found it hard because i was a lazy cunt haha.
