James Balme - A passion for Archaeology

In 1979 as a boy James Balme became interested in history and archaeology. For many years he spent time exploring the landscape in search of our ancestors. He has made many exciting discoveries during this time. In 1998 James launched a research project to explore the history that surrounded him close to his home. Now for the 1st time this short compilation of tv clips highlights how he has taken an interest and hobby forward to feature many times on British television including cult archaeological series Time Team who joined James in 2006 for a three day dig for the 2007 series. James continues his research and has just launched phase two of his research into the ancient past of the landscape that surrounds him ....
