Fans cheer as a multiracial children's choir from Toronto's Regent Park School of Music (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/toronto/students-share-stage-with-rock-legend-roger-waters/article1709636/) dash onto the stage to denounce the role of the evil grammar-school schoolmaster-in-marionette in extending state control of the population. Paralleling the erection of the wall in the psyche of the child is the crew's piecemeal addition of another brick in the wall.

Lyrics:
When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children any way they could
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat,
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

"Wrong, Do it again!"
"If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you
have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?"
"You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still laddy!"

  • so i'm goign to thw show tomorrow night @ mexico city... i wonder if roger's staff is REALLY going to pick up our "extremely poor" kids and put 'em on stage??? i mean i get the point... still i'm curious.

  • @LaGabrielaBella Sí, es difícil distinguir entre las preocupaciones montajes y las preocupaciones reales.

En todos casos, ¡pásatelo bien al concierto mañana! :)

  • Why do you have to note the children are "multi-racial"? What is the point of that?

  • @miamad Because, quite admirably, it suggests that Roger Waters is thinking more globally compared to back when some of the earliest productions of The Wall were done.

  • Hahahhahaahaha, the highlight of every show for me is seeing how animated Roger is....he's a damned overgrown kid....with disturbingly cynical Orwellian views on life.....but a kid nonetheless. Isn't that the point of the Wall, anyways? All I'm saying is the cash I sunk into four concerts isn't going to waste. Love you Roger!

Thanks so much for these fantastic vids! This concert makes up for the lackluster performance of a certain hockey team in this venue come wintertime. ;)

  • Sorry, Friday show at Chicago

  • Sucks for the guy who made this vid. If he went to the last show on Friday the kids got into it more during the dance. NOW THAT WAS A GOOD SHOW. Everything was timed perfectly too.

  • He has skinny jeans on. Sweet! lol

  • do those kids know how fucking LUCKY they are

  • Imagine seeing this part on acid

    because I did

that teacher scared the living shit out of me

  • Should I be worried that next year I'll be attending the same school that Rodger did? :D

  • I'm waiting for you in Stockholm, Roger. I have wanted to see you and the wall for so many years!
