Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin, surly Lord Macintosh and cantankerous Lord Dingwall. Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. she isnt a princess. her or shang didn't have any royal bloodline so i hate it when they say shes a princess but shes a disney warrior.

I know right. for me mulan was the first Disney "princess" that wasn't into being royalty she just did what was right. She's the first one to be a warrior female princess. I still look up to her to this day an freaked out when i saw her at Disney world
