As one of the lucky students in Miss P's class I completely support the make over! The students involvement gives them an opportunity of ownership and a chance to advertise their own personality and creativity. Even for the faculty each student is marked into their classrooms hall of fame where their memory can live on past graduation. If all classes offered this creative outlet perhaps like me they will look forward to each lesson in their renovated more aesthetically pleasing class room.

The aspect I like is the idea of children customizing their classrooms and taking ownership of them. If they "own" them they will be so much more engaged. But I don't think you should get an external glamorization unit involved!
