  • My Shiba just turned 9 weeks today. =P

And it's also a sesame just like yours. My shiba loves the grass, and do anything for a treat. My shiba knows how to sit, stay, fetch and jump up. But only for a treat. He loves walks but he hates the leash. He lays on his back and also attack the leash. lol Ionno how to teach him not to leash bite. The only difference between my shiba and yours is... If he's not on a leash outside he would run to the park and play with all the kids. Haha.

  • @WinterNight awww! How cute!!!!! You're shiba is super smart if he can do all that at 9 weeks! When I first got my shiba, he loved walking without a leash too but we only allowed it because he was still a slow baby! hahaha My shiba STILL sometimes lays on his back and attacks the leash but he does it just to play. I suggest you buy BITTER APPLE spray and spray it on his leash before you guys go to walk because they don't like that stuff. We did it everytime and eventually, he stopped! :DDD

  • @L0VESC

That's a good idea. Bitter apple? Where do I get that though? Pet store? My Yuki only turns on his back and starts biting the leash cause he also wants to play. He doesn't do it aggressively. Such a goof heh. My dog is 9 weeks, and he's super fast already. Every day he jogs with me so it's good excercise for both of us.

  • @WinterNight You can get Bitter apple at probably any pet store. My shiba still rolls on his back and bites his leash but he does it to annoy us. He is very stubborn and lazy at times when he doesn't want to listen to us so he does that. BUT, he knows better because he WILL get the bitter apple! hahaha! I take my pup on long walks and hikes! I jog every now and then. I am waiting until he gets a little older to fully jog because I don't want him to overwork his little bones/joints :(

  • lol he already hates the harness , 4 years and Yoshi still hates it !

    cute pup

  • @YoshiTheShiba Aww thanks! Yeah, he use to hate his harness but now he is comfortable with it! :) The leash..however... when he's in a bad mood, he will be so evil with it and not want to walk - just lay on his back and attack the heck out of it! LMAO!

Haha it's a good excercise for both of you. I only jog 1 block and then he's tired. Then he plays at the grass and eats it. And when he wants to go home, he actually runs back home. He knows where to go. lol. It's a good way to tire Haku. My Yuki gets a lot of excercise. My parents takes Yuki for a jog in the morning, then I take him one in the afternoon. You should try to take him for a walk at least 2x a day. Man, they're growing up way too fast. =(

  • @L0VESC O ya , grudge's or bad moods LOL I think mine has a memory like an elephant

only takes him one time for most everything and he remembers no doubt Haku will be the same

thats great he excepts the harness now , don't let him get away with saying heck with you LOL or he will be leading the pack , an occasional treat would work good for getting him on his feet ,

there so fun at this age
