  • @jkc313007666 thank you for getting back to me :) he got a bit better but needed our help to walk and eat but then just over a week he went back down again and we decided it was no life for him they didn't give no meds but he was old and it was very strange as when the vet came to the house to put him to sleep it was like he knew it was his time. but was a very hard time and even now I miss him dearly. but we couldn't leave him how he was was not fair on him.

  • @85rexi I realize this is late. First, sorry for the loss of your pet. Sucks. Probably wasn't a stroke. The rapid eye movements you describe (nystagmus) don't occur with strokes but are more likely due to Vestibular Disease, usually an inflammatory inner ear problem. If his eye droops on the same side as his tongue flopped, could be Horner's. Of course, if older, a brain tumor was likely. Was he treated with meclizine and did he get better for awhile?

  • My dog has a stroke and i Honestly refuse to put him to sleeep.. I CANT please anyone help hes getting worse even with the steroid medication please PLEASE im not gonna watch him diee

    he started falling ova last week and now cant walk,he need help to eat food and drink and eyes flicker up and down,hes tongue flops to the side to id this a stroke?
