@MrLomzz I am replying to a comment from so long ago. But they DO have oil in burma. They have natural gas, oil, rubies, jades, jewels, coal. And china is sucking everything out of burma, making it a puppet country. SUCKING IT DRY.

well ... if the burmese people wants freedom from a dictatorship and needs help.... they need to find Oil in their country...... only then u get the interest from the "World most powerful Country" n help u out...... until then, nobody gives a shit.....

look at the army in burma. they are armed with hockey helmets and trash can lids. i beilive there weapons are U.S made. they look alot like the m4 carbine given to the U.S troops. so woth that in mind all we need to do to save them all is send in 1 possibly 2 tanks and 1 sniper team. america could save those people without even a military battle plan. just stroll in with 2 tanks and snipers covering there rear.

"We can travel through space with the greatest of ease
we can land in the dust of the moon
we can transform our lives with the type of the keys
yet we can't shake this feeling of doom.
But I woke to find monks pouring into the streets
marching thousands strong into the rain
now that courage comes dressed in red robes and bare feet
I will never be fearful again." -- Mary Chapin Carpenter "The Age of Miracles"

Just saw documentary burma vj, the u.s. gets involved in so much stupid things, and talks about freedom for all, and yet we do nothing for people, like the people in burma, i'm ashamed to have the government we have, republicans and democrats, two different names, but all the same. So let's not keep silent, stand up for what you believe in, Hope for health and peace for all people in this world

@monicasm123 The only problem with that is that the junta will take all the food and leave the people to die.
Burmas junta wont pay a shred of notice to the western worlds voice of protest
If the mad dog of Asia is to be put on a leash then all Asian trade with Burma needs to cease.
This form of non violent intervention will get General Than Schwes undivided attention
The world watches as Burma suffers and dies but its in Asia where the real solutions lie
Thailand has a golden opportunity to take centrestage and wipe this brute from histories page.
