True but I was researching last night and found that you can have a 427 from a stock 350. Netting you close 600. And it'll cost just as much as buying an LS1 and building it.

@Slipknotdraken was thinking about it. and the dyno guy said that it could possibly put out 70 to 80 more horsepower give or take whats lost at the wheel. But its always better to start off with a 480hp motor instead of 280/300

@MystikAzn4vr My point is that if you have 2 cars, equal weight, both dead hook off the line and have equally good drivers/automatics, you're not gonna bring up power to weight. Only people that do are people that have weak powerplants and rely on their lightweight car. Not saying being light isn't important, but hell. You can be featherlight, but with no power you ain't goin nowehere bud! Bring up anything besides power to the top fuel teams!
