Rabbi Goldstein explained to his Muslim audience that whilst for Mr. Arafat and the Palestinian Authority its a political struggle and they may compromise with the zionist state and settle for 50%, 25% or whatever they can get, he cannot do that. Ideologically religious Jews cannot recognise any part of the zionist state.

My belief is there was no difference in how Jews were treated anywhere in the world, be it Europe or the Middle East. The difference is that before WWII Jews were treated in a more hostile way by Europeans since the Zionists were causing more trouble to that region compared to the Middle East. Now the opposite can be said. The Zionists are making European life worse but not nearly as bad as they are making it in the Middle East now. They're starting to making life terrible in America too now.
