He didn't break her back, she recovered fully. There is speculation of who actually jumped into the crowd. Most sources say it was him. one or two say it was the other singer, and one says both did. Accounts of people who were there say he jumped into the crowd.It seems he did, or they both did.

He was obviously not completely happy in general, but he was really shaken by seeing the girl on the ground & being taken away on the stretcher. This was obviously the last straw.

What a loss to music.

@ImmortalUniverse He did it because in the middle of the show he did an unexpected stage dive and broke some poor girls back. He got drunk and obviously felt really bad...RIP
