  • @dopejoel Same here =)

  • i love staying up all night listening to this stuff

  • Great conceptual reframing, Stef...thank you!

  • wow this video just kind of blew my mind and brought me to tears...thank you

  • For that, have a look at my 'intro to philosophy' series! ;)

  • You quote Neitzsche but didn't Neitzsche say something similar with his eternal recurrence.

  • There is a difference between "known" and "directly experienced". These things are not matters of faith, but of evidence. It makes no sense to see how similar I am to others, see I am conscious, and then think others differ in that vital respect. When things share characteristics you assume they belong to the same class (and all characteristics) until you find evidence of difference.

  • So you prefer the Cartesian approach, no problemo! Do you believe that I exist, or are you mostly talking to yourself?

  • what you talk about here, is kind of a self-medication, with simular effects like religion and such stuff.

i dont know for certain ;) *hint* what the solution might be .. but i think in the case of right and wrong .. the idea of "nothing is right or wrong" seems more neutral to me but yet of a calming effect. and therefore i guess it should at least be prefered to the self-aggrandising "i am right".

  • i am at minute 26, where you continue to repeat you are right with everything, and you cant find anything that you would think youve done wrong.

think about it, thats exactly what people with less kognitive capabilities know all of their life. it would be kind of paradox if it would take you 40 years to find out, what most people already know. and more importantly, if everyone is right, but oppositional, how can everyone be right.
