The Museum of Byzantine and Metabyzantine Art, with its exhibits of icons dating back to the 16th and the 17th centuries, of other holy artifacts and books, was established in Rentina, in 1975. From the main square of the little town, having visited the museum, we head to the three domed Basilica of Saint Nicholas, above the main village water spring. In the church worth seeing is the 18th century Epitaph from Russia, donated by people from Rentina who resided in Odessa.
