Re: Solaris (Nirenburg, 1968) with english subs

A dialog scene from B.Nirnburgs Solaris, filmed in 1968. Dialog scenes is what I miss in Tarkovsky´s and Soderbergh´s versions of Solaris. The first and mostly unknown screen adaption of Stanislaw Lem´s novel Solaris, includes a lot of brilliant dialogs and is much closer to the book than her followers.

what a wonderful movie,I am quite addicted'-what a pity the whole movie isn't subtitled in English-I can only understand a few words in russian. The acting here is superb,and I know the book anyway,but if only Mosfilm knew how tired we are of Hollywood blockbusters and how refreshing the contemplative russian movies are.God Bless for posting this video anyway.
