A clear cut case of Conflict of Interest is going on within the ranks of CITES (Convention of Trade in Endangered Species). After the release of a 50 page investigative report that highlights Dr Giam's connection as a representative of the Shark Fin industry, a global campaign has been launched by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to remove Dr Giam and to install "Conflict of Interest" provisos to CITES.
