Hardy fish are essential in a brand new tank. You should think of getting some 'Danios' - they're extremely common and come in leopard spots and stripes on a bronze, torpedo shaped body (roughly 3-4cm). They're very, very active and love the light - often when you switch off you tank light, you'll hear them jumping out the water!

umm i have guppys, black skirt tetras and dwarf gouramis umm i just want to know if i can put some angel fishes there ???

Angels should be fine as they are top swimmers, while the tetra's and guppys and more mid swimmers. But if you have dwarf gouramis, I'd recommend getting 'medium' bred angels rather than the small variety

It's actually about pH 7.2 - using various types of rocks/plants help to lower and raise the pH
