Good to see the stock FG ute rip out a 13.2 straight out!! Hooked it up pretty well too!! Just wanted to know if it's a manual or auto? I am assuming it's an auto as I didn't hear any Launch control. Also hard to hear over Tom Jones and that WRX!!! LOL

Yeah its an auto, and definately a pity about the choice of music they were playing at the track. Did not think i would run that as motor or wheels mag ran one at 13.3, so didnt think i'd beat that being an ameture

Its no secret that MOTOR quote the SS the same 0-100 as the XR6T(5.2), and R8 / F6 the same(5.1)... Just rubbish to keep the comparisons alive and fair!! Ford in both variants take the cake. The FG XR6T would be at least as quick as the R8 under any conditions even... the F6 is the quickest Aussie sedan without comparison under 100k. Both Fords use much less fuel day-to-day also... HSV suck, what else can you say?

Value for money and pound for pound, you can not look past an XR6 turbo! Something with the economical grace of a 6spd in both auto and man to also display low 13s for a completly stock what is truly a "falcon" and nothing more, is un freaking believable!

So yeh, "HSV, I just DONT want one:.... :)

Good work mate, I ran a 14.9 the other night in my stock XR6 sedan. The turbos definatly have the edge here!

Fantastic time Cameron . I hope I run that time when I take mine out in a few months!! At a second hand price of 29k I honestly do not know of a stock holden or hsv that can match the performance for the money. Is there a holden or hsv stock that can run 13.2 or better at 28k second hand or 45k new from dec 2008 to present?

LOL the other night coming back from late night , there was this guy with a pimped up SS Holden (v8) come rolling up beside me , and he went off going how much of a good car he was driving , yelling out that it was tuned up and had all the goods in it , then next minute the lights turn green , and the fagnut stalled it , I blasted the horn and Laughed Out Loud, and took off HAHAHAHAHAH what a douchebag. Ford XR6's all the way

Your kidding right? Or maybe you are right.. So awesome they cant let go of the good old pushrod design.... Hahahahahahahaha! HSV's are a joke... Im no bias person.. I recently owned a VY SS commodore and enjoyed it for what it was.. But even being level headed I can admit that HSV are just complete and utter rubbish..... So you my friend can go suck on a dick.....
