Please Watch in Full HD for best results!! Thanks!

Hello youtubers, I'm just testing out my the Logitech C910 Webcam with my electric guitar.

Note: I haven't touched my electric guitar in almost a year, so please forgive my basic chords and sloppy playing haha. This was also just by request for someone.

I recorded this straight from the webcam, no extra effects, external mics, or anything, and the webcam software also has this cool youtube uploader so it's pretty convenient.

The logitech microphone on the webcam doesn't pick up distortion as well as the acoustics, especially on the highs, and it really gets fuzzy so I had to tweak it quite a bit to get a better sound.

I would highly recommend plugging your electric guitar into your computer or buying an external microphone if you were wanting to record distortion/metal guitar for exceptional sound, but otherwise the picture quality and settings are great and I would still highly recommend this webcam.

Note: If you already have this webcam, make sure to uncheck the RightSound option before you record or it will cause your guitar to make this bad flangy/underwater type sound. Also I hear from other people that muting the speakers can help with optimal sound quality before recording.

Please feel free to ask me any questions if needed,
Thanks for watching & listening!

  • bro i need help when i on music the webcam sound go very badly any help ? the sound is like fuck up

  • @LaggyDie Hello, have you tried unchecking the rightsound button before you record? That's usually the cause for the bad underwater sound, otherwise distortion can sometimes be overwhelming for this webcam if not adjusted right, and if that's the case, you have to usually adjust the volumes of the webcam or place your amp more further away from the webcam, hope this helps

  • @Iam13ored Hi bro thanks after unchecking it works ! THANKS BRO I WILL SUB !

  • @LaggyDie thanks a bunch! :)

  • @xmaddict You can adjust the volume settings on the logitech c910 by clicking preferences up on the top of the program, clicking the Quick Capture tab, and the Audio settings/microphone input level can be adjusted there.

  • @Iam13ored On mine I can't adjust the volume for the webcam.

  • @xmaddict It was actually pretty tricky to avoid the excessive clicking and popping, I had to be very careful and make sure the volume of the webcam and the distance between the amp and webcam was adjusted correctly. I also had to make sure the distortion of the amp didn't have too much treble or bass, which causes the webcam to also act up, it gets pretty tricky at first, but after a while you'll eventually find a good distance and volume setting you can usually stick with. :)

  • How did you avoid the distortion in the webcam mic? I have the same mic and it over drives the sound. I record alot of acoustic covers and it clips if you breath wrong.

  • @seevoor4 lol thanks!

  • omg!!! i love you O.O you are master
