This character change made sense. Hey, I did like the Hurricane, but how many times have wrestlers come to WWE and been made to stick with a comedy gimmicks for years that see them stuck in the same old lower card jobber routine? Scotty 2 Hotty (post-2000 Too Cool springs to mind) Gregory Helms did what many would like to have done: he showed himself as a serious wrestler and a decent heel. Things didn't work out in the end, but for a year or two, it worked well.

the wwe really should have left them as a tagg team,
they were more original than the other weird gimmicks and tagg teams they got mashed in.
