On Sept. 12-14, 2008 the Family Research Council held its 3rd Annual Values Voters Summit in Washington, D.C.
Freedoms Journal Magazine sat down with several Black leaders to document their response to matters of faith, race and politics.

It is refreshing to see "Black Leaders" speaking honestly and without the obvious bias I see throughout the regular media. The best line in this video was, "the walls between black and white have been torn down in Christ."

@BlackAndRight Well I do believe Dr. King protested the war. People now a days that protest the war are called un-patriotic liberals! I'm thinking things like that never change, and what does one have to do with the other? Bad example there Bob! You can do better then that! You know the 1940's were a whole different time. As for our current president, I think he is republican! lol Talking tax breaks for small business?? Small business are big business under tax codes!

I like what the lady finishes saying at 8:33-good to see that both race and gender were represented in the election and now time to move past those issues! The liberal movement did good ending segregation, but then swelled and went off of the deep end, holding an entire race of people beholden to itself out of misplaced gratitude. It has since sought to exploit and cripple the very people that it professed to help! It was a Republican congress that actually gave blacks the right to vote!

P Buchanan said it best. paraphrasing He said in the 1950's blks could be describe as law abiding christian conservatives. He have left our natural way and voted for democratcs mainly because we thought handouts would help uplift us somehow. The democrats are extremely racist. No doubt repubs are racist too but not at the extent dems are. We need to wake up and realize what is wrong with America. Starting with Barack Obama. Remember McCain was a liberal too but not as bad as OBONGO.

hey GamerJerks, i understand that the obscene language at the MCCain/Palin rallies were rude and unacceptable but just bc it happened at a mccain rally DOES NOT mean the heckler was a republican! A poll showed that 25 percent of dems would vote against their party if a black man was on their parties ticket..so to conclude that republicans are a racist PARTY bc of some big mouth is obsurd. He could of been a dem OR independent. We dont know!!
