@FishStik5ive Interesting... I was always taught to pick by sweeping with the nail on my 1st finger (which apparently begets the same sound). Go figure.

@GelatinousYam Wrong. Django and almost all other gypsy jazz players used picks, and the pick itself is an integral part of the whole genre.

@Rory99M Everything was fingerstyle. Picks are great for derping as fast as possible, but not for making actual music.
