Here's a solo-guitar arrangement of "Tears" by Django Reinhardt. You can get an MP3 here: http://adrianholovaty.bandcamp.com/album/best-of-youtube-vol-1

The introduction is taken from Pat Donohue's acoustic-guitar version (highly recommended!), which in turn was taken from a piano introduction from one of the original Django recordings.

  • merci mec, tu m'as appris à jouer "tears" de django reinhardt. tes un bon prof

  • Which guitar are you using! i like this song is beautiful!

  • Congratulation, great performance! Please, could you send the tab to me?

  • @FishStik5ive Interesting... I was always taught to pick by sweeping with the nail on my 1st finger (which apparently begets the same sound). Go figure.

  • @GelatinousYam Wrong. Django and almost all other gypsy jazz players used picks, and the pick itself is an integral part of the whole genre.

  • Beautiful

  • @Rory99M Everything was fingerstyle. Picks are great for derping as fast as possible, but not for making actual music.

  • amazing!

  • Very good. Simple and powerful at the same time.

  • nice playing mate, working on it, thanks.
