This is WRC driver Gilles Panizzi's famous 360 at the 2002 Rally Catalunya.
He was leading by around 45 seconds and decided to give the fans a little treat. One of the most awesome and fun moments in rallying history! Even funnier when you realize that he didn't tell his co-driver - his brother Herve - that he was going to do it!

@hogalog LOL! I think a fencepost has more. That's why Solberg and Block are the two most popular guys, they have got personality! The WRC needs to get back to those days somehow.

this is precisely what rallying misses these days, personality. mcrae, makinen, kankunnen, vatanen, burns, panizzi.... now weve got loeb who has all the personality of a fencepost.

@hogalog I agree, but not 100%, as I find Loeb can be quite funny in interviews sometimes. The Solbergs are pretty awesome personalities, too. I wish Galli was in the WRC.

I met them in 2005 in the rally of Mexico, and they are freacking fun, both of them, but Gilles is something else, with crazy looking eyes you can expect what ever from him. only somebody like hime could do that hahaha

@JCPinia Thanks for an interesting comment. :) It was always cool to watch Gilles driving, never blinking, not missing a thing.
