Day in the life of the Smashing Pumpkins: Practice for the day has ended, but that doesn't mean everyone goes home!

Billy is continuing to work on the newest Smashing Pumpkins song that he began writing earlier in the day. Things seem to be coming along quite well, according to piano player Lisa Harriton.

Lisa gives us a a little insight on the song-writing process as well as her instrument setup.

  • Billy Corgan has to be one of the greatest musicians of all time, and his IQ must be through the roof as his songs are like poems (he actually did release a poetry book), hes a great guitarist and has one of the most beutiful and unique voices ive ever heard

  • @2WheelEscapeArtist Oh i didn't know that... Sorry xD

  • @SuperMegabar Do a little research next time. I came across the story after hearing about the tour they did for the album Adore. Billy asked Lisa Germano to join the tour. She rehearsed for a month with them, then he had the tour manager tell her she was fired the night before the opening gig. That spells No Balls in my book.

  • @2WheelEscapeArtist Lisa Germano wasn't in Smashing Pumpkins... xD

  • Wow. I LIKE LISA!!!!!

  • Smashing Pumpkins are my Beatles.

  • @discardmyfriends No it does not. You just miss a stupid drug addict that play the bass like a child would and a fucking disloyal guitarist that owe billy everything.

  • @CrusaderU2K D'arcy was a stupid drug addict and you don't need to be a good bass player to be in the pumpkins.

  • new line up sucks

  • Remember as you're saying nice things about Billy that he's the same guy that fired Lisa Germano and didn't have the balls to do it himself.

  • @inphanta Even though D'arcy and James left, Zeitgeist was a good album. Their new singles from T.A.K. are really good. R.E.M. was originally a much better band when they were not mainstream. Their last album Accelerate, and the new Collapse Into Now, are GREAT albums.
