@si1vermane It goes back to perception. It's all in the ear of the beholder. LL had the industry, media and a larger numerical fan base. His status in the "game" is more important than what Canibus was at the time. So who do you think will get the most attention, airplay and props? The rap, hip-hop and various other media outlets were not going to go against a so-called legend. LL had mediocre rebuttals and apparently won. Canibus spits for the love of the game, LL does it for the money.

IMO art that will truly resonate with people for a long time in the future is the classical ones.

The public who look at the picture must interpret the symbols as they understand them.” Guernica is still one of the most famous paintings ever! Beauty is in the eye, or ear, of the beholder.
