I wanted to write an original Halloween song,an indie folk song, not just a tune about monsters and pumpkins and people on drunk escapades. I think I never wrote such a depressing tune, so I think it fits the mood of Halloween quite nicely.

The idea for this song came when I tried to find some new alternative music focused on the theme of Halloween. Asides Marilyn Manson's cover, "This Is Halloween", which is a cover from Tim Burton's musical, "A Night Before Christmas", I really had no other options - not in the indie folk genre, not in indie rock, folk rock - nor in other alternative music genres. So there you go.
(I might not be too good at searching on Youtube, so it could be my mistake that I didn't find anything - - - but if you did find some good Halloween songs out there, please leave the link in a comment - I would appreciate it!).
