@burndragon30 sorry, wrestler and fighter myself, even if not a professional, so to answer you: I do understand pain and fatigue.

Still putting your hand toward an incoming blow is a Big "no no", since you cannot predict how a kick like that can go, he got scared, but if he kept his guard up, he would never get hit like that.

A blow like that can hurt you very bad, and injure you permanently,

You know were your head is, not the blow, so you gotta keep your guard ready :)
