  • Sorry Colin Firth, but I found James Franco's performance more convincing for best actor!!

Oh well, I'm sure Firth will win, but atleast Franco got a nod....

  • did James purposely say 'on the other hand' hmmmmmm :/

  • Am i the only one that think Aron Ralston and James Franco could've been twins? And hey, they couldn't have found any better person to play this role, than James Franco. He was amazing.

  • @EdwardNygma1 you get over it

  • i had to cut my dick off once as it was trapped in a 25 stone whore

  • @cartergirl3of3 I see your point but i originally just wanted to tell you that you are probably not a coward just an ordinary person.

  • @southparkfanatic333 Yea, I agree that pain would be the first hesitation, certainly for me, but I'm sure people would be solidly put-off by amputating their arm once they picture themselves without it. Humans are very conscious and believe it or not sensitive. We're always wondering what people think of us especially deformed. And yeah maybe he's just got MASSIVE inner strength. We're all ordinary, he's extraoridinary...

  • @cartergirl3of3 while i agree most people would be unable to do what ralston did, i know i wouldnt, i disagree that that makes them cowards. That just makes you, me and everyone else ordinary while ralston is also ordinary but with an extraordinary inner strength. Also i wouldnt say vanity is what would make someone not be able to amputate their own arm, much more likely is the fear of the pain that they would experience whilst doing so.

  • 'On the other hand'

    oops.

  • What an AMAZING story. I can't say it was inspirational because if I was in that situation, I would STILL not be inspired to do what Aron did, I'm such a coward. And the sad thing is, many of us are cowards. There are people in this world who value vanity and wholeness over their own lives. It seems like Aron should be much more important than he is. I mean his story seems to be tied to God in a way, it's that extraordinary. 127 Hours and James Franco were DEF > Kings speech and colin Firth

  • Oh my gosh are you people freckin serious? Debating over the fact that he said, "On the Other Hand?" For petes sake it's got nothing to do with his other hand it is a figure of speech like what EdwardNygma1 said! Far out!

  • Aron Ralston's beautiful, inside and out!
