Favorite Game Music #4: Boss Theme (Skies of Arcadia)

This theme is just plain epic, although it doesn't have a specific name, I don't think. The really interesting thing about this song is that the game plays different parts of it depending on how well you're doing in the battle. It starts with the beginning part, gets more intense if you die, and if the boss is near death then it plays the last part which is pretty cheerful. It's really cool.

This theme hit a whole new level of awesome when the theme kicks into overdrive when the battle turns in your favor, more games need music like that ie when you're winning you get kickass music like this.

One of the things i loved about this game was the way the music could change depending if ur winning or losing a battle, i would flip out when the music was all chaotic and sad and when it turned to the happy music i knew i was gonna win. Skies of Arcadia needs to have a sequel!!

I'm choked up with nostalgia when I'm reminded of how unbelievably good this game was. This music kept me at the edge of my seat during some of the more difficult boss fights.
