The higher the gain, the more compressed your tone will be, due to the interplay between the Mad Professor Blueberry Bass Overdrive's gain and nature knobs. The Nature knob is a unique feature combining the classic styled tone knob to also adjust the register of the distortion on your bass, Meaning when the Mad Professor Blueberry Bass Overdrive is set all the way clockwise, your higher strings will be more distorted, and when set all the way counter clockwise the lows will thunder.
