Let's Play Super Mario Star Road 14 - Some Things Never Change...

Oy.

So like, this unfortunately shows a rather less glamorous side of me... which creeps up rather commonly when I feel like I'm being cheated/I'm playing like an idiot (which is often). I am unfortunately rather quick to fluster in these things, and especially when I cannot actually control the issue that is causing me so much trouble I am more than inclined to make myself heard on the matter. For those who are fairly new to my channel, I do have a tendency to swear a lot, even though it's mostly not insulting/meant angrily.

I guess I'm a "bark is worse than bite" type of person, since even when I sound as bad as this I rarely actually mean anything cynical with it. Trust me, you'd know when I'm REALLY angry. Those who have seen that know that it's far from pretty...

Anyhow, this level by itself is perfectly fine. Actually it's really really easy for where it is, outside of that one bullet bill climbing section which as far as I can see is impossible to do the intended way.Unfortunately, me being my idiot self and still believing that dragon coins actually meant something, I felt obligated to get them all. And THOSE... are in ridiculously demonic positions. Partly camera-fuelled (coin 2 for example), but mostly just pure bullshit, THEY are what took up most of the time. And in the end they turned out to be totally worthless, which really summed up this video to be honest. Ironic isn't it? The one level I was most looking forward to ended up causing me to go to this, simply because I expected Yoshi coins to actually be meaningful when in fact they are not. How sad.

Maybe next part will be better? Who knows.

@FearThePika1: I could name at least 20 counterexamples on recordings in past LP's. Do not bring up the one exception ever, seriously. I'm getting sick of people doing that, it wasn't even *THAT* impressive...

Trust me, USE THE CAMERA CODE. It's so much better, I finished the game and had absolutely NO ISSUES with the camera throughout. Lakitu just makes you want to kill yourself.

@IWearAHood: Well, when I last used it in the earlier levels all it really did was just lock the thing into Mario mode zoomed out. Which I can do anyhow if I want right? I'm honestly not seeing the benefits here, so if you could clarify that then I'd appreciate it!

For the Yoshi Coin by all of the cannons, you probably could've done a triple jump. Ledge to back cannon, back cannon to the one in front of it, then from there to the coin.

@SquirtliGaming: Even at that, triple jumping off of single tiles which are not exactly horizontally aligned would not be easy. Maybe it would've been easier, but I have my doubts personally.

Oh man, this level looks so awesome. If it weren't for those useless dragon coins, this probably would have been the best level so far. :(
