LOL Listen to women in castrati roles with low ugly voices like Prina, Bartoli, Genaux , Kazarova, imagine that they are the best "manliest" Orfeos, Ruggeros, etc. possible , and be happy! Contertenors singing is only for people with sophisticated enough tastes. Not for primitive ones like you! Your constipation in the brains is incurable! Go to the box-office and ask your money back if you don't know that Orfeo is a MAN! LOL

@BernardProfitendieu If through weird production you couldn't hear TRUE ART, PURE MAGIC when the power of art makes you forget about the costumes and decorations, it only shows that the "recipient" has no heart, is emotionally dead. Oh well, not everybody is capable to hear it. The majority of all the people are so used nowadays to listen to such TRASH as PJ presented as true baroque or early classicism that they already can't distingush great singing as they don't know better! Go listen to PJ!

It only didn't move YOUR heart! You just saw a modern production, but how about great singing here and sharing soul! Kowalski is incredible! His singing and acting is very sincere. Only few artists could ever do it! He was spent on stage and gave his naked soul to the audience to devour to such cold people like YOU!...

Just icredible production of this opera! I would have never believed before I listened to and watched this DVD that I would like this modern interpretation of Orfeo ed Euridice! But Kowalski made a miracle! He is just great! For me the best Orfeo ever! All 80 minutes of this production is pure magic!
