ECE 210: Analog Signal Processing teaches students key signal processing theory and provides application of this theory in the laboratory through the construction of an AM radio. Emphasis is given to circuit analysis, differential equations, convolutions, and applications in filtering. Students learn to use advanced options on the oscilloscope and other engineering tools and see the application of diodes, capacitors, and resistors. At the conclusion of the semester students tune their newly designed radio to their favorite AM station to see their design at work!
