Tax payers foot the bill-- $650 million. Heavily in debt, Rogers scooped it up for 25 mil.
Moral of story? Politicians are idiots, corporations are evil and you and me always get screwed.

@tklmmft I know, right? If Rogers wanted their name in it so badly why couldn't they just have renamed it the "Rogers SkyDome"? Everyone still calls it "SkyDome" anyways.

The videotron did not move. The lower stands move on tracks to change the configuration inside from baseball to football.

i'm pissed off with that name rogers centre. bring back skydome, cause that's the real official name of the stadium and it will always be.

Thanks for the clarification. Though, the Skydome was the World Series winner's home field twice.
