International pop-star Ricky Martin was Larry's guest on November 9th of 2010 on LARRY KING LIVE to talk about transparency, his coming out earlier this year, his kids, his career, his successful life. His autobiography is titled "ME" and is out now.
To all the kids out there struggling with this secret please take Ricky's life story as a successful gay man before AND after coming out and BELIEVE that sooner or later YOU WILL BE HAPPY too. It WILL happen. Everything happens for a reason and every single life counts so much. YOU COUNT! But PLEASE do NOT come out if you're very young and if you live in an unsafe environment where you could be subjected to bullying. For the time being it might be best to just keep it to yourself and be SAFE. Be very, very careful about who you confide in!
