@OverlorBeats Oh, AND I really hope the Ren has the awesome pitch control and quality that the 3000 had to really pitch down samples to get some funky shit. The 3000's quality really kept the sound together when it was pitched down (or up) all the way. This was a feature I used and loved a lot... It's about the converters to get good sound in, first and foremost.

@OverlorBeats Totally agree. Correct, Roger Linn created the 3000, then he left AKAI. Can't wait to see the LinnDrum 2. Roger knows the SOUND. Having said that, I'm curious to hear the quality of the audio converters in the Ren. Also, since there are the "Sample Edit" and "Sample" buttons there, I really hope a USB drive can be connected and used to sample and edit to/from, without the need of the computer. They should be able to do this. If that's the case I might buy it.

@RikAmmo I agree again but I like having the power of my computer and access to all my sounds and I wish Roland did what Akai has done 1st.

S/O to my homie Overlor. he use to school me & my homie Fmajor at Guitar Center back in the day when we where new producer in the game. I think we was one of the few producers that he accepted using software before it became super mainstream... MizfitzSoundz

Overtime I learned to make things more simpler by adding by subtracting. Its a never ending battle being a gearslut. There is many ways to skin a cat but if you are thinking of better ways while you are skinning it you may never bald him out

@Amerikaten Great advice...I subtract by selling gear to add gear...lol!! I guess if money was no object I would have a Hip Hop Museum with all the gear that was influential in hip hop culture.
