After his graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, Jermain thought that he had it made. He had served at one of the largest Pentecostal churches in America, and in 2009, he was ranked as one of the top five youth pastors in the country, yet he found himself broke, with three children and a home in foreclosure. He quickly realized that things had to change. Jermaine didn't find Pre-Paid Legal ... Pre-Paid Legal found him!

Pre-Paid Legal became the vehicle for him to have the time freedom and financial freedom to truly focus on what God has called him to do.

Jermaine was raised by his great-grandmother in Los Angeles, California, in low income conditions, on government cheese and rummage sale finds. Therefore, his great grandmother was always looking for an opportunity. He had already seen everything from soap and hope, to lotions and potions. Yet none of those home-based opportunities ever seemed profitable. When someone invited out to a Pre-Paid Legal briefing on January 31, 2001, he was the biggest skeptic in the room, but he didn't have anything to lose. Jermaine said he was broke, yet wise. And a wise man researches what a fool take for granted.

Those other ventures was just God preparing Jermaine for the day he met Mr. Burt Calhoun and Mr. Darnell Self. Shortly after he was exposed to the family and support Team NuVision, he was convinced! With the company's systems and the team's support, Jermaine was able to make about a thousand dollars during his first FIVE days in the business, and the attorneys kept his home out of foreclosure. He was a believer in the membership and the opportunity.

In 20098, Jermain met his "Angel" and recruited her as his partner in business and in life. Mona Callier-Johnson, joined Pre-Paid Legal in January 2009. With in a background in commercial insurance, she thought the membership and opportunity immediately made sense. Mona got involved and went to the Executive Director level in NINE months. Mona works her Pre-Paid Legal business part time and with the extra income she is able to supplement her mother's retirement and send her on well deserved vacations. Pre-Paid Legal has afforded Jermaine and Mona their dream wedding in Puerto Rico. Thet have time to travel together, and they now annually host a leadership retreat with thier executive directors in Hawaii.
