i watched a video of chris moneymaker making a royal flush yesterday against Jason Mercier. Towards the end of the video Moneymaker said he knew he would win because he told his daughter he would to make up for missing her birthday to be there. Then i watch Jamie Gold, an unpopular player for his table talk and arrogance, make a call to his sick dad to tell him he won, with genuine sadness that he couldn't be there to see him do it.

He's not even as close to as bad as jerry yang or cada actually. Or i should say, he wasn't in this tournament, he played a damn good tournament you can't deny that.

To be fair, if you watch the entire tournament Gold was awesome. A dick, but awesome. Hasn't really achieved anything in poker since mind.
