  • @lawrenceofaus & @bloodangelusn for extra security, you can purchase the "BUCK" MOD (wraps through and around the buckle on your R-Strap) to add on to your RS-7. You can find the BUCK MOD on our website or through your local dealer.

Let me know if this helps answer your question or if we can help you with anything else.

  • Hi All!

    Thanks for the comments;)

    To address a couple concerns:

All products now come with printed instructions, yay!

@banghiphorray We have the "BUCK" buckle cover for added security (very handy in riots;)

@MI6CORPORAL Our new ConnectR 2 is a locking carabiner. Leftys use our straps all the time, same concept, other shoulder.

@makkowenwatt I'll let Tyler know that he's a Bruce Willis wannabe;)

Thanks for all your support and feedback, happy shooting!

    -Brad, Team BlackRapid

  • The thought of a fast release clip on the back would worry the hell out of me.

  • @Vec777 Thank you for your comment. We've revised our packaging. We do have extra mesh bags and would be happy to send you one. Contact info{at}blackrapid{dot}com and we'll get one sent off to you. :)

  • @rstrapvideos do you mean it comes for free if you purchase the RS-7 off the website? Or are you just telling us of the existence of the BUCK which we have to buy separately?

  • @geppinosh

RS-4 doesn't have the curved shape of the RS-7 which slightly fits better on your shoulder

    - the RS-7 shoulder strap is made out of ballistics nylon, so better quality feel

    - RS-4 has a small zipper pocket for a couple of memory cards. No in built storage for RS-7

    - RS-7 was built to be used with BR mods, so even though there are no pockets, it's because it's built to be used with attachable pouches for phones, GPS, coins, lens cap etc.

  • is there anything to secure the quick release buckle? it's in the back and what's to prevent someone from releasing the buckle without your knowing? albeit a minor one, but seems like a design flaw.

  • he look like the bald man in brazzers movies

  • The only thing I dislike about this strap is that the clip to undo to strap is on the back, this makes it easier for someone to approach you and unclip it before taking the camera or just undoing it to let it fall. I only have this concern as I occasionally photograph unpleasant situations such as riots.
