@Keranna1234 If I thought that there was a God... I mean for real, I would want a theocracy. I would be on the corner lambasting every hell bound fool that walked by - if I thought God was real. I don't get people who will say, "yes, I think God is real" and then say, "but you can believe what you want". Huh? People may hate the Westboro church folk, but at least they have a consistent philosophy. What other way can "the way to Heaven is narrow and few will find it" be interpreted!?

@Keranna1234 I'm a radical atheist homeschooler and I think the same thing, based solely on logic. On the other hand, when you stand way back, who do you see behind the democrat facade? Dirty hippies, pretentious half-smart nerds, some whiners. Who do you see behind the Republican facade? Skinheads. Anti intellectuals. Krishtins who think they should be absolutely in charge. Of the two, one of them makes me more nervous if I had to have them as neighbors. Sometimes it's hard to decide, tho.

@DrSamba1 You keep on accusing conservative, Christian, Republican of doing things that I don't believe are true; you are doing a lot of stereo typing. I care about people after they are born and if the person is a true Christian then they do too. The Difference between a protein that will be a sperm, the sperm, and an embryo is that from the moment that embryo is conceived it is another life with in it's mothers uterus.

@Keranna1234 No, the difference is that (with some exceptions) teenagers are viable human beings. Embryos are clusters of cells that are not viable outside of the body and therefore not babies. You might as well argue that it's not ok to kill a sperm cell because it will be an embryo, or an amino acid because it will be a protein that will be a sperm that will be an embryo that...

The real irony is "freedom-loving" Republicans who stop giving a shit about babies once they are born.

@Keranna1234 Because conservative Christian Republicans are not content with a secular, pluralistic society. They want to establish a theocracy, although Jesus himself said, "My kingdom is not of this world" and "give to Caesar what is Caesar's." Clearly, he was not trying to overthrow secular government.
