Fischer's trademark nordic warrior vocals and Celtic Frost's unique combination of a primitive yet at the same time highly intricate sonic assault made the group one of the leaders of extreme metal.

    Hail vidal sassoon!!!

  • @MissEgasMoniz I understand your dissapointment, this was a terrible era for the band. But, you were not misinformed; Celtic Frost WERE a massive influence on the Black Metal that came later. They played metal so dark, so hypnotizingly evil...nothing like it had really happened before them; it's all true. Look up "Necromantical Screams" or "Circle Of The Tyrants"or even farther back into their days as HELLHAMMER ( Damn near first, if not the first Black Metal band ). Spread true metal history!

  • my only guess is that they were trying to make more loot w/ that look; it even sounds different than during the To Mega Therion era; wtf?!?!

  • This band was great up until the Cold Lake album. I'm not sure who's idea it was to play heavy and dress like Bob Jovi but it was a total disaster.

  • Tom Fischer is making music like he's still in his 20's. Triptykon is so fucking heavy Tom shits dark matter.

and as far as the hair-- everybody looked that way in the 80's...

These guys were pure Fn Metal gods. I loved the music 25yrs ago in HS and still love the music today.

Look at Tom "Warrior"s band today---Triptykon--- just insane music, dark dark video and still death metal to the core. awesome, just awesome.
