@EkkoDejio Everytime when you click your lovebird knows he is going to get some food. the "command" ist the targed stick or things like "stay" "run" "fly" and so on...

you don't need to starve your birds to train them. that's just not how to do it the right way. if you aren't able to train them normally, that's a sign that maybe they're not willing to be trained. unless you're one of those diehard trainers you' ll let them be at at peace after you've tried everything short of starving them.
you dont' need special treats either. i just use a sunflower seed (for birds, not the salted ones). they love them as treats. or any random bird seed, they love them all.

why do people use clickers? do lovebirds like it? or do you just use it and help them? or does it do something to them? please tell me.

they use clickers because that way the bird learns to associate that sound with a treat and is willing to perfrom the specific trick you are teaching it.
