how do u make new layers without going to duplicate layer???

@HawkFireWarrior you can make a new layer by clicking new layer icon in the bottom right of the layers box beside the trash icon. (it will look like a piece of paper with a folded corner. or you can go to:

Layers - > New -> Layer...
