Live and Learn (1951)

This was the first Sid Davis let's-scare-kids-into-being-safe film. It's a seemingly endless(ly entertaining) parade of little kids falling, getting cut, getting burned, etc. There's a very interesting patriotic appeal made at the end of the film, which seems to intimate that the very survival of the United States is at risk should children not heed the admonitions of the narrator and exercise caution. Includes a bit about BB guns that literally tells us you can put an eye out with one of those things. A film version of your mom.
