My Seagate HD started to mess up (freezing when copying files to it) so I desided to open it. After 10 min on youtube with no luck I found a comment to a review and desided. No its running as a sata2 HD and problem solved. so desided to make this quick vid

  • 1. sorry first vid so did't wanna talk really...just wanted to show how to open since it took me time to figure out.

    2. Yes the case was empty because I took out the hd and it's inside my pc :D just wanted to show.

    3. yes the case is fine for me and could be used for another hd if needed (still have it)

    Wish I had more time to do vids...have so much tech stuff and play around with alot (pc, phones, consoles etc.) but hey maybe someday.

  • That was really helpful as it goes, thank you. I have one of those shitty external hard drive, It is not working and has a load of my photographs backed up on it. I am goignt o try it inside see what happens. So not lame at all, just what the doctor ordered. :-)

  • If I open mine up, can I house the drive in an external eSATA enclosure then to get a faster external drive connecting it to the eSATA port on my computer?
