Silk Painting with Teena Hughes

I use my own alternative to gutta when painting on silk. Mix the powder with water, stir until it thickens, then pour into squeeze bottles with or without metal tips to draw a design on the silk..

The Abfab seaweed outliner washes out beautifully after silk is steamed, and can also have silk dye added to create gorgeous coloured outliners.
