@latinasdoitbetter1 I would like to see legislation put in place to protect our economy against price gouging at the gas pump. Price of crude dropped significantly and the gas corporations are still driving up the price per gallon of gas - that is driving our entire economy into the dirt. They dont NEED to keep posting quarterly profits in the billions while the rest of the entire country falls further in the hole - the gas corps can stop being greedy and fix it but they wont - fix that.

@latinasdoitbetter1 Ashamed? No. I still wholeheartedly support everything our president has done and intended to do. Compromise worked for some legislation and other things just plain got derailed but that shouldn't surprise anyone. I am very proud of his positions and intentions and perhaps one day more people will be willing to get things done.
I am disappointed that Americans (congress) cant work together to get things done.

If you somehow possibly think that 4 more years of the same failed policies of the past 8 years are somehow going to yield a different result, then tell me exactly how - one reason supported with facts based on the past 8 years...
Love the songs, hate the failed policies McCain/Palin represent. We cannot afford to step backward this election season, too much is at stake - I have 3 children that are going to inherit Republican mismanagement.
