<--- St-204 [5S-FE] swapped to 3S-GTE. So I know of what I speak.
Good luck with it guys. I've always loved the BEAMS Redtop. would love to build another Celica with BEAMS for my DD but I kinow the boost bug will get me so I'd end up boosting the BEAMS [But oh what beast she'd be :P]

However, If you decide to use a E153 or similar tranny you will need to use stock ST-205 mounts on the tranny rear mount - That's it [besides electricals of course]

If the car is setup for a 5S-FE the 3S-GE/3S-GTE/3S-FE of all styles is a DIRECT drop in - no mount mods required.

@nbh6565 : U must remember that the Camry body's much heavier.
-
@nbh6565 : I think it'll be the timing belt side of the engine mounting & the cross member mountings but should be nothing major if yr mechanic knows his stuff. The Camry's using the 5S, so basically it's quite similiar with the 3S. My original engine is the 1S & the 3S fits. Their cousins (the "S" family).

nbh6565: there's a BEAMS version of the MR2, so it'll fit the MR2. Better still if you got the cut from a MR2 as it will be plug & play.

@nbh6565 : Why not take the 3S-GTE instead ? It's even more powerful. You even use the Caldina's & match it back with yr original auto trans, if you prefer an auto.
