The real answer is this movie was directed by Dave DeCoteau who is fabulously gay and frustratingly keeps getting jobs doing lesbian vampire movies that feature nothing but hunky guys in their underwear. He was responsible for perhaps the most wrenching waste of lesbian vampire potential in history when he directed "The Sisterhood."

yeah I had heard he was flaming... The sisterhood had a kickass bite scene at the end... but the rest of it was just worthless.
Stay away from "The Brotherhood 1-556" LOL
