Volleyball - Net rule modifications (New rules in volleyball)

you can't get upset over this little change... because they basically modify it every year.. the new rules are pretty fair. I'm liking it

this rule makes for more scoring but incourage's less balance and footwork which is a shame . But where is the video of what is STILL A NET ?

i honestly dont really like all these new rules, i mean after awhile when you think about it, it becomes reasonable but as of now, all these new rules seem like its making volleyball easier like it's something that anyone can catch onto right away and not practice and work at but who am i to say :T

Wow hostility! So you think this isn't volleyball anymore? You wonder what other sports change rules year to year? Well all sports change rules. Anyone remember the video review rule for homeruns in baseball?? Review rules in football? Did you know that the original rules for the sport did not allow setting. it was played with 9 people on the court. The players couldn't move to play the ball. Etc. accept that the game has evolved and enjoy the newer level of athletic play that is allowed now

FIVB should be shot through the head. Every year they seem to have to change the rules of the sport. And every year there is discussion and anger on the field over calls the ref makes. They sometimes don't even know what'zs right or wrong anymore. Can you give me an example of ANY other sport where they change rules YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR?? F*ck FIVB and the horse they rode in on!
