I will probably be doing a couple of these things, but I had an idea for a novelty poke that started off with Blaziken and quick attack, and turning out to completely wall Gyarados thanks to Hazard169's calcs. Hope you guys enjoy it!

You don't switch into gyra, but if gyra switches into it, it walls it pretty nicely and easy takes it out.

It doesn't really wall gyarados... At all. Say it switches in on a gyarados's waterfall. It dies.
Say it switches in on a gyarados's dragon dance. It waterfalls and it dies, and gyarados has a dragon dance up

Chances are you're not gonna be stupid enough to switch it INTO gyara. Gyara should switch into it. You switch it into something that it can take the hits from, and force them to switch out.

So then it doesn't wall it. Deoxys Attack walls Kyogre if it has a sub up.

After bulk ups it walls it. And if Deoxys Attack walls Kyogre with a sub up then there would be setup required THERE too. E.G-Switch it into Regice to take the ice beam. They switch out, you get a bulk up. They bring in gyara, you're faster so you go for another bulk up. You live with half hp. You bulk up again, you get salac boost. Then you can kill them off and hopefully kill whatever comes in next. Obviously it's not gonna be 100% wall, but it can definitely help take out gyarados.

The keyword is novelty. A good pokemon set but with so many flaws. There are things it's great against but it won't be up to par with most metagame. It's slow and a lot of sp atkers are fast. I still like it though.

Yeah the truth is most novelty pokemon DON'T work in the metagame. And you shouldnt expect them to. They are mainly for fun battles, and if used properly and with a bit of luck and suprise, can sweep a team.
